A regular meeting of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria was held

Today, December 18, 2023, at the state institution “Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center” of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chair of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. Sattoriyon Matlubahon held a regular meeting of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting was attended by members of the National Coordination Committee, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, international and non-governmental organizations.

During the meeting, reports were heard from representatives of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the progress of the implementation of the “National Program to Combat the Epidemic of Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, the UNDP Tajikistan on the implementation of a grant from the Global Fund to Fight HIV and Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan and the public organization “Spin Plus” on the practice of state social procurement.

At the meeting also were discussed draft regulations and new compositions of technical working groups under the National Coordination Committee, work plans for the National Coordination Committee and the Oversight Commission under the National Coordination Committee for 2024.

As a result of the discussion of the agenda items, relevant decisions were made.
