An extraordinary meeting of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan was held

Today, on March 17, 2023, was held an extraordinary meeting of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic Tajikistan, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chair of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Sattoriyon Matlubakhon.

The meeting was attended by members of the National Coordinating Committee and other invited persons.

During the meeting, were discussed the issues of approval of the country application to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for a new grant on HIV and Tuberculosis for the period 2024-2026 and the selection of the Principal Recipient of the new Global Fund grant on HIV and Tuberculosis for the period 2024-2026.

At the meeting was approved the country application to the Global Fund for a new grant on HIV and TB for the period 2024-2026 and the United Nations Development Program in Tajikistan was selected as the Principal Recipient of the new Global Fund grant on HIV and TB for the period 2024-2026.

The country application to the Global Fund will be submitted to the Global Fund for appoval on 20 March 2023.
