A regular meeting of the National Coordination Committee to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria was held

On December 22, 2025, in the building of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, was held a regular meeting of the National Coordination Committee, chaired by Mrs. Dilrabo Mansuri, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairperson of the National Coordination Committee.  

The meeting was attended by members of the National Coordination Committee and representatives of several ministries, agencies, and international organizations.

The meeting heard and discussed reports from the state institutions “Republican Center for Tuberculosis Protection” of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Implementation of the National Program for Tuberculosis Protection in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025” and the Republican Center for HIV Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan  “On the Implementation of the National Program to Combat the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome Epidemic in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025,” as well as the report from the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan “On the Implementation of the Global Fund Grant to Fight HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2026.”

In the meeting also were discussed the implementation of a multisectoral collaboration and accountability mechanism to eliminate tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the draft work plan of the National Coordination Committee for 2026 and the work plan of the Oversight Commission under the National Coordination Committee for 2026.

Following the discussion of the agenda items, were made the relevant decisions.
