Joint meeting of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Coordination Council to Fight AIDS, TB and malaria in Sugd region was held

From November 30 to December 4, 2024, the mission of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to Tajikistan was on scheduled working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Global Fund delegation was represented by Mr. Dawran Faizan, Fund Portfolio Manager, Mrs. Nino Mdivani, Public Health and M&E specialist and Mrs. Natalia Manic, Sustainability, Transition and Co-Financing Specialist.
During the visit, representatives of the Global Fund hold meetings with the Vice Prime-minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chair of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, the leadership and relevant employees of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.
During the meetings have been discussed relevant issues regarding the implementation of Global Fund’s grants in the Republic of Tajikistan.
