Country dialogue on the preparation of a country request to the Global Fund for a grant from the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS and TB for the period 2027-2029

Today, March 4, 2026, the first joint meeting of the aforementioned working groups was held at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was chaired by Mr. A. Amirzoda, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chair of the working groups on preparing a country Rrequest to the Global Fund for a Global Fund Grant to Fight HIV/AIDS and TB for the Period 2027-2029.

This event was attended by members of the working groups on preparing country proposals to the Global Fund for HIV and TB components, as well as online participation by Global Fund representatives, including Portfolio Manager, Mrs. Olga Avdeeva and international consultants Mikhail Volik, Tetyana Deshko, Kateryna Boyko, and Arash Alaei.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to preparing country proposals to the Global Fund, expressed their opinions, and presented their proposals regarding priorities for inclusion in the new country proposal and the timeline for preparing and submitting the proposal to the Global Fund.
