Meeting of the working group on the development of the HIV component in the country proposal to the Global Fund for 2027-2029

Today, May 7, 2026, a meeting of the working group on the development of the HIV component in the country application to the Global Fund for 2027-2029 was held at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan under the coordination of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting was attended by members of the working group, representatives of international and public organizations, invited persons, as well as international consultants Tetyana Deshko and Katerina Boyko.

During the meeting, the key components of the application were discussed, including HIV prevention among key population groups, particularly migrant workers, and the procurement of medications for the treatment of HIV-infected individuals. During the discussion, working group members provided comments and suggestions for inclusion in the applications.
