On August 6, 2025, at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the chairmanship of the Executive Secretary of the National Coordination Committee to Combat AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, Avgonov Ziyovuddin, a meeting was held between the staff of the Project Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the sub-recipients of the Global Fund grant for the Prevention and Control of HIV Infection and Tuberculosis.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fihgt AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of UNDP in Tajikistan and other sub-recipients of the Global Fund grant.

During the meeting, the participants were introduced to the goals, objectives and composition of the Project Implementation Group, and heard information from representatives of the principal recipient and other sub-recipients of the Global Fund grant on the progress of the Global Fund grant implementation in the area of HIV and tuberculosis prevention and control.
