Meeting of partners of civil society organizations, communities, government agencies and representatives of international organizations as part of the National Dialogue to prepare for writing a new proposal for funding from the Global Fund

Today, on December 19, 2022, a meeting of partners of civil society organizations, communities, government agencies and representatives of international organizations was held at the Hilton Hotel, Dushanbe as part of the National Dialogue to prepare for writing a new application for funding from the Global Fund on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis for the period 2024-2026.

This event was organized and held within the framework of the Project “Sustainability of Services for Key Populations in the EECA Region” SOS_project 2.0. in cooperation with the PAS Center of Moldova.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Secretariat of the National Coordinating Committee to Combat AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, other ministries and government agencies, UN organizations working in the field of HIV in Tajikistan, including WHO mission, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as international consultants.

During the meeting, representatives of organizations working with key community groups discussed the results of the study (focus groups), which was conducted by consultants Chelan Christina and Sarang Anya on the formation of community funding priorities for inclusion in a new application to the Global Fund, and made their comments and recommendations.
