Joint meeting of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Coordination Council to Fight AIDS, TB and malaria in Sugd region was held

On December 6, 2024, in the Khujand city, Sugd region, was held a joint meeting of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Coordination Council to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria in Sugd region.

The meeting was attended by members of the Coordination Council Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria in Sugd region, specialists of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and other invited persons.

During the meeting, reports were heard from the relevant structures of the Sughd region on the progress of implementation of national programs and strategies in the Sughd region, including the “National Program to Combat the Epidemic of Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, as well as orders of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan on measures to prevent the outbreak and resumption of transmission of malaria in the Sughd region and other related issues.

Following the consideration of the agenda items at the meeting, appropriate decisions were made.
