A joint meeting of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Combat AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Coordination Council to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Sughd Region was held

Today, November 4, 2025, in Khujand city, Sughd Region, was held a joint meeting of the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Coordination Council to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Sughd Region.

The meeting was attended by members of the Coordination Council to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Sughd Region, the Secretariat of the National Coordination Committee, and other invited guests.

During the meeting, reports were presented by relevant Sughd regional authorities on the implementation of national programs and strategies in the region, including the “National Program to Combat the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome Epidemic in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025,” the “National Program to Protect the Population from Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025,” as well as orders from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan on measures to prevent the outbreak and resumption of malaria transmission in the Sughd region, and other related issues.

Following the consideration of the agenda items, the meeting adopted the relevant decisions.
