Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the NCC, Mrs. Sattoriyon Matlubakhon with the Global Fund mission team

Today, on March 1, 2023, held a meeting was between the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. Sattorien Matlubahon with the Global Fund mission team.

The Global Fund mission was represented by: Mr. Davran Faizan, Fund Portfolio Manager for Tajikistan, Mr. Shepard Mufudzi Machekera, Public Health and M&E Specialist and Ms. Natalya Manik, Sustainability, Transition and Co-financing Specialist.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Secretariat of the National Coordinating Committee to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting hade been discussed the progress of the implementation of the grant of the Global Fund for the Prevention and Control of HIV / AIDS and Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period 2021-2023, as well as the preparation and submission of a country application to the Global Fund for a new Global Fund grant to combat with HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period 2024-2026.
